Ty Jones

Ty Jones is the lead developer for the Level Method. He has been a software developer for over 20 years, taught computer science at the University of Nevada in Reno, and owned/operated CrossFit Initiative for over 12 years. He started out as a customer of the Level Method and soon joined the team.

He’s a father of 3. His oldest daughter plays soccer on a nationally ranked team. His oldest son races motocross and competes in Olympic weightlifting with Calavera Barbell. And his youngest son has joined Calavera Barbell and may be his only child interested in software. His wife, Soupha, escaped the communist country of Laos when she was 4 years old. She now manages their gym after stepping away from a career as a high school science teacher. She’s the most talented family member and keeps thing running smoothly.
